Overview:
SAQA regulations stipulate that prospective assessors who wish to register and be accredited as Assessors, must be competent against the unit standard 115753 to be endorsed as generic assessors. On completion of this course, 90% of the learner’s Portfolio of Evidence will be complete and it will only be necessary to send Maccauvlei the additional evidence.

 
 
Who should attend?
The training is suitable for trainers, ETDPs, HR and line managers, supervisors, subject matter specialists, coaches and mentors.
Entry Requirements:
An NQF Level 4 education level with proficiency at reading and writing English.
Certification:
On completing of the course with a Portfolio of Evidence and being assessed as competent, learners will receive a certificate of competence with credits towards the generic assessor unit standard 115753 - Conduct Outcomes-based Assessment.

• Analyse and evaluate source documentation to determine if it is adequate, relevant and valid.

Prepare for Assessment, ensuring that all the elements necessary to complete the process are in place.

• Conduct Assessments in an efficient and effective way without putting learners under undue pressure.
• Provide feedback on Assessments in a way that ensures the learner is fully informed on his or her performance.
• Review Assessments so that the organisation can be sure that the process is being applied consistently.
