Overview:
Competency based interviewing (CBI) is a fully validated technique to obtain accurate assessment data about an individual's behavioural characteristics or competencies. CBI consists of a structured, behavioural event interview to gather evidence about a candidate's competencies. The interview can be focused on the competencies most critical to the job. 

 

Who should attend?
This course is designed for both HR professionals and line managers who are involved in managing talent, performance management, development of employees or in selection events.
Entry Requirements:
Learners need to be proficient in writing and reading English.

Certification:
This training is not accredited with the NQF as appropriate unit standards are not available, but learners who successfully complete the course are formally accredited as competency based interviewers at Level 1.
