Overview:
 The purpose of this skills programme is to provide learners with a set of skills to manage the finances of their unit as if they are running a mini-business. Learners leaving this course will be able to make critical decisions affecting the financial performance of their unit and the organisation as a whole. It is based on the following unit standard:
 • 252040: Manage the finances of a unit. Level 5. 8 Credits.


 


 

 
 
Who should attend?
This programme is dedicated to those who find themselves leading multi-skilled and multi-disciplinary teams.
Entry Requirements:
Learners need to be proficient in reading and writing English at NQF level 3. It is recommended that learners complete the management fundamentals unit (study school 1) prior to attending this programme.
Certification:
Individuals who successfully complete the relevant portfolio, will receive a certificate of competence for the skills programme unit standard.
