Overview:
The purpose of this skills programme is to provide learners with a set of skills to develop and maintain a basic budget. Additionally this course pays attention to the critical aspect of occupational health and safety. It is based on the following unit standards:
 • 8016 Maintain occupational health, safety and general housekeeping.
 • 242810 Manage expenditure against a budget.
 
Who should attend?
This programme is dedicated to those who find themselves in leadership positions and who require a solid and practical foundation in budget management and safety management.
Entry Requirements:
A desire to learn, and proficiency in English at NQF Level 4. It is recommended that learners complete management fundamentals unit, (study school 1) prior to attending this programme.
Certification:
Learners successfully completing the programme, will be awarded credits towards the Certificate in Management Development. (57712) .
