Managing Learnerships

Overview:
A need was identified by employers and training providers who are managing learnership’s to understand the administrative systems, management and learner needs when implementing a learnership. On completion of the course, 70% of the learners Portfolio of Evidence will be completed. Additional evidence will have to be handed in 4 weeks after completion of the training.

Who should attend?
Workplaces implementing learnership, learnership administrators, HR personnel, ETD administrators and training providers.
Entry Requirements:
Competent in Communication at NQF Level 4.
Certification:
On completing of the course with a Portfolio of Evidence and being assessed as competent, the learners will receive a certificate of competence with credits towards the following unit standard:
• 15232 - Coordinate planned skills development interventions in an organisation.

•	Understanding the implementation of learning interventions against National strategies and targets.
•	Understand the role of the Department of Labour with regards to NSDS.
•	Understand and explain different learning interventions.
•	Identify different categories of learners.
•	Implementation of learning interventions.
•	Administration and management of learning interventions.
•	Understanding of workplace, training provider and learner readiness.
•	Understanding of what a learning intervention plan is.
•	Understanding of transfer of learning in the workplace and problem solving.
