Overview:
A need was identified by employers and training providers who are managing learnership’s to understand the administrative systems, management and learner needs when implementing a learnership. On completion of the course, 70% of the learners Portfolio of Evidence will be completed. Additional evidence will have to be handed in 4 weeks after completion of the training.

 

Who should attend?
Workplaces implementing learnership, learnership administrators, HR personnel, ETD administrators and training providers.
Entry Requirements:

Competent in Communication at NQF Level 4.
Certification:
On completing of the course with a Portfolio of Evidence and being assessed as competent, the learners will receive a certificate of competence with credits towards the following unit standard:
15232 - Coordinate planned skills development interventions in an organisation.

Understanding the implementation of learning interventions against National strategies and targets.
Understand the role of the Department of Labour with regards to NSDS.
Understand and explain different learning interventions.
Identify different categories of learners.
Implementation of learning interventions.
Administration and management of learning interventions.
Understanding of workplace, training provider and learner readiness.
Understanding of what a learning intervention plan is.
Understanding of transfer of learning in the workplace and problem solving.
